Freelancing Course
What led me to try Freelancing Course?

I am an Events Organizer/Supplier for almost 8 years now. It has been my main source of income since 2012. I put up my own events company five years ago and as an Events Organizer/Supplier, we are deeply affected by this pandemic. The government didn't allow us to operate because it requires mass gatherings. We are one of the businesses in the country that is now hanging due to this pandemic. That is the main reason why I tried Freelancing Course.

Struggles of a Business Owner during Covid-19 Pandemic

My business has been running for years now and I have 4 full time employees. As the government extends the lockdown, it also gave me so much stress because I always think about my employees. How will they be able to support their family, if they don't have work? Also, knowing that our industry will be hanging for months even after they lifted the lockdown. This situation has been in my mind day and night. Worrying about how can I support my employees' needs and how will I be able to pay for my monthly office bills.

Freelancing Course 2.0

Community Quarantine gave me so much time to browse Social Media. As I was scrolling up my Facebook feed, a Freelancing Course by Filipino Virtual Assistance was one of the Ads that passed by my news feed. Thinking about my business' situation, I know in myself that I have to think of an alternative to make ends meet.

To be honest, I have no idea about Freelancing Course. The moment I checked their Ad, I started to browse their Facebook Page to know more about the company. I am deeply overwhelmed with all the positive feedbacks that their students have been posting. That's when I knew that this will help me solve my problem. Also, I remember few months back that I wanted to go back to school but still undecided what course will benefit my business.

Fortunately, the FVA was offering a promo. That was just perfect for my needs and the money that I have right now. After paying for the fee, they immediately sent me the full information regarding the course that I will be taking. From the schedule up to the detailed scope of the course. As the day goes by, I get so excited knowing that I'll be learning new things.

I was assigned to Coach Grace who happens to be the owner and creator of FVA. I'm happy because she's very hands on. She always makes sure that our Portfolios are ready to be presented to future clients. She cares about our future. She gives her full support in everything that we do especially if it's related to freelancing course/career. Most of us enrolled due to this pandemic. Some are single moms and stay at home moms. I'm one of the single moms who decided to try this course so that I can still have time to take care of my daughter.

We are now on our 3rd week. I realized that I have learned so much from this course. This will definitely help me to get clients while at the comfort of my home and also I can optimize my existing business through the knowledge that I learned from this Freelancing Course. I am beyond happy knowing that I made the right decision. I can finally make ends meet.
